Additional Information

Digital Arts was the first elective unit from outside The Faculty of Architecture, Design & Planning that I decided to take. Topics encompassing primarily Manovich's The Language of New Media, yet touching upon a broad range of aspects. Rich with literature. And materials that I just was pumped to make. A weekly blog about the topics that were induced inside the lectures. A review. An Essay.

The first I did inconsistently, yet at times overdiligently. The second I did on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in which I bashed the elements I found lacking. I could have even tried proving my point, that the game is not as good as it was perceived back at the time, especially that it lacked proper competitors. I mean, Fallout 4? Pleeeease.

Essay was the easiest and the hardest part at the same time. I rewrote it thrice. Each time it lacked proper references. Each time it was basically whatever the hell I wanted to write about. At first I made an essay on Spec Ops: The Line, as far as I recall. Finally, it became a stiching between technologies, politics and... damn, I don't even want to take another look at this at the moment.

Yet, I enjoyed the course. I learned quite much and produced tons of content. Being creative? That's when I enjoy myself the most.
